Colin Hood Systems Engineering is an IREB Recognized Training Provider. Colin Hood is a founding member of IREB and we are ideally suited to prepare you for your Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE) Foundation Level, and Advanced Level examinations.

CPRE – Foundation Level (IREB)

3-day training, price per participant: 1.450 € + VAT

Examination: 250 € + VAT

Price includes lunch, all training materials, and the IREB book.

 

CPRE – Advanced Level – Requirements Modeling (IREB)

3-day training, price per participant: 1.650 € + VAT

Examination: 600 € + VAT

Price includes lunch, all training materials, and the IREB book.

The examination is not included in the price but will be organised for the third training day in the afternoon. We recommend to register also for the examination.

We will prepare you ideally for the worldwide accredited certification examination of INCOSE.
The training and certification is based on the INCOSE handbook.

There are 3 levels available:

ASEP:  No Systems Engineering experience required
CSEP: Minimum 5 years Systems Engineering experience required
ESEP: Minimum 25 years Systems Engineering experience required

 

Our Systens Engineering Training is split in 2 parts and covers all relevant topics from the INCOSE Handbook to prepare you ideally for the examination.

Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE)

Duration: 3 days

The Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE) is a personal certificate aimed at individuals working in Requirements Engineering, Business Analysis and Testing. It will expand your professional knowledge and help you to become more successful in your job.
The certification scheme is developed by the IREB (International Requirements Engineering Board), the contents are taught by independent training providers and the CPRE exam can be taken at approved certification bodies. The CPRE certificate has lifetime validity. (Source: IREB.org)

CPRE – Foundation Level

Duration: 3 days

Outcomes
On successful completion of this course, participants will:

  1. be ideally prepared to take the CPRE – Foundation Level exam
  2. be familiar with the terminology of Requirements Engineering/Business Analysis and Requirements Management,
  3. understand the basic techniques and methods of Requirements Engineering and their application,
  4. be familiar with the most established notations for requirements

CPRE – Advanced Level
Requirements Modeling

Duration: 3 days

Outcomes
On successful completion of this course, participants will:

  1. be ideally prepared to take the CPRE – Advanced Level, Requirements Modeling exam
  2. be able to use graphical models to express functional requirements.

CPRE – Advanced Level
Requirements Elicitation and Consolidation

Duration: 3 days

Outcomes
On successful completion of this course, participants will:

  1. be ideally prepared to take the CPRE – Advanced Level, Requirements Elicitation and Consolidation exam
  2. be able to efficiently elicit and consolidate requirements.

CPRE – Advanced Level
Requirements Management

Duration: 3 days

Outcomes
On successful completion of this course, participants will:

  1. be ideally prepared to take the CPRE – Advanced Level, Requirements Management exam
  2. be able to manage existing requirements and requirements related artifacts. Includes particularly storing, changing and tracing of requirements (traceability).

RE@Agile Primer

Duration: 1-2 days

Outcomes
On successful completion of this course, participants will

  1. be ideally prepared to take the RE@Agile Primer exam
  2. know how RE methods and techniques can advantageously be applied in agile development processes, and how techniques from the agile approach can improve the RE practice.
